Come hangout with us and our immediate families. There will be swimming, games and dinner outside. While this gathering will be nontraditional in many ways, our greatest desire is for all of us to spend this time together.
William ‘Jake’ Finnicum
Jake Finnicum grew up in Michigan and has spent much of his life traveling, incorporating education into each journey. More recently this desire for exploration turned inward and led him to the practice of Zen Buddhism. In the midst of sailing, building his first portfolio home and growing his career, Jake met Ellissa.
Ellissa Starr
Ellissa Starr was born in Missouri and spent much of her life traveling or in Los Angeles. After focusing on better understanding a multitude of cultures, she felt a calling to establish her life in Michigan. Four weeks into living there, Ellissa met Jake.
Jake and Ellissa have many questions about life. Their relationship is the one thing that they are sure about. They encourage the other to dive deep into ideas, providing a consistent light so that every pursuit is a possible one. Ellissa and Jake support the individual they love as much as the relationship they share.
